Janice brings over 15 years experience in the banking industry as a bank examiner for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and as Executive Vice President – Branch Administration for Armstrong Bank. An advocate for positive change, Janice is always looking to take something good and make it exceptional. She uses her analytical talent for taking complex, often misunderstood, information and making it actionable in driving organizational change. Challenged to make everything she presents participant-centered, Janice furthers her reputation for putting people before paper.
Charged with building a sales culture at the bank, Janice was instrumental in design of the bank’s mission statement, values, customer service performance standards, and formal and informal incentive systems. She led the design and implementation of a formal performance improvement effort and played a key role in fostering a learning environment, fulfilling her passion as a lifelong learner. Her other passions include customer service, leadership, and personal development.
Janice is certified to teach The Bob Pike Group’s Coaching with Confidence and Gordon Training International’s Leader Effectiveness Training. She was a commissioned bank examiner with the FDIC, served on the Oklahoma Banker’s Association Intermediate School of Banking School Board of Regents, is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, and serves on the Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce Board.
